INTRODUCTION

This project is the first complex of Eco Delta Smart City, a national pilot city that aims to implement next-generation smart housing technology using artificial intelligence (AI). Residents of a total of 56 households, including 19 2-story and 37 3-story households, plan to optimize technology and solutions by operating a rental living lab during the 5-year pilot residency period. A number of state-of-the-art housing technologies such as smart home and healthcare were applied to this project, and in particular, a new concept housing paradigm was presented in preparation for the future energy environment by achieving a 100% energy self-sufficiency rate.
